trimix to bimix: correct new dose?

Post by carnegie86 » Sun Jan 31, 2021 2:31 am

Because of pain, I'm switching from Trimix (30/1/10) to Bimix (30/1). I needed 6 units of Trimix (nerve damage is my problem). Does anyone know how much Bimix I might need to get the same result? I just tried 8 units (a little more than the 6 for Trimix) but my erection was only about 3/10 or 4/10.

Does this sound like what I should expect? Any idea about how high I might have to go? I always think that maybe I've done the injection wrong and can't trust the result.

I was planning on increasing the dose by 2 units each time, but that could take a while depending on how high I might have to go. Just wondering you guys have any experience with this.

Thanks!

Sorry, I don't have any experience with Bimix but 2 unit increase increments sounds safe provided you are sure that you are getting the medicine in the right spot with each increase. I would be tempted to inject a little more after 10 to 15 minutes if the results are not where they should be but I think a doctor would probably advise against that unless you're in the presence of a doctor? I have been considering asking the doc for a Bimix script as it does not need refrigeration from what I understand which appeals to me. I like the idea of keeping some in my night stand or trying to carry some on me somehow without refrigeration to try and be just that little bit more spontaneous when the mood arises. The wife wants me to carry pills around for that reason but she doesn't understand that the pills just don't cut it anymore never mind that they take an hour to kick in and make me feel like crap. Let us know how you make out as I am anxious to hear about it.

Thanks Bob for your helpful reply. Just wanted to check back in with my results:

It turns out that, after switching from 6 units of Trimix, about 18 units of Bimix gets me hard (9/10) and lasts about a couple of hours. I am not nearly as hard / long as I was with the Bimix, but my wife says it is actually more comfortable for her. So all good...

Thanks again.

Is the Bimix ingredients the same strength that your old Trimix prescription was? I love the idea of Bimix not needing to be refrigerated and being able to be just that much more spontaneous. Getting dosages right and injecting into the right spot consistently are the hardest things to nail down when starting injections.
