Uncircumcised male - foreskin problem. Need help

Post by AlexT » Sat May 30, 2020 5:51 am

Hi, I'm a 28 year old uncircumcised male. Over the past few months I have noticed that when I have intercourse with my partner (female), that my foreskin retracts almost immediately after penetration occurs. This has been causing me pain and discomfort and has made intercourse very hard for me and is causing me stress and anxiety. I already went to a urologist recently and explained this issue to him, he told me to just work my foreskin back and forth and not much else. I don't really know what that means or how to go about it. I also have noticed that since over a year ago now, I have some strange minor scarring near the tip of my penis which I can feel when errect. It has not been an issue for intercourse up until recently with my foreskin pulling back abruptly and causing discomfort. The tip of my penis underneath the foreskin is very sensitive and when the issue occurs, it starts to hurt because it feels like there is friction that is tearing at the tip. I don't know what to do and it's causing me a lot of greif. Should I see another urologist? Any professional advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Before I even got halfway through your post I was thinking you should see another urologist. Be blunt and express your frustration when making the appointment about why you're making the appointment and tell them the pain and discomfort it's causing perhaps they can get you in quicker to see the doctor. I can simpothise with what you're going through and know how frustrating it is to repeatedly feel injured every time you have sex. I would probably try to rub some Neosporin on it to make it heal faster. I know this sounds stupid but would lubrication help at all during the deed to prevent this from happening? Try to find a urologist with a lot of great reviews. I struggled with many issues for 20 years with 4 different urologists and the 5th one has helped me with my issues so much more then all the others that he is my hero now.

Hi, thank you for your response!

Good news! I think I figured out the issue and was just overreacting. The "scarring" that I have experienced for over a year now was actually not a scar at all. It was just a buildup of some smegma that was built up far underneath my foreskin. I have never pulled it back all the way before in my life since I did not even know it was possible to do so and I always felt very strange and uncomfortable about pulling it all the way. But I was able to do it and after getting more comfortable with it, I noticed the strange white/yellow lumps of smegma right near the tip of my penis where the foreskin pulls all the way back. I was able to remove all of it while showering and have already noticed a huge difference! Regarding the skin pulling back during intercourse, I just did not put any lubrication inside of the condom, but plenty on the outside and a decent amount inside my partner as well which really helped a lot! There were no issues at all while we were intimate recently. I feel like a whole new person. I seriously cannot believe that it was just smegma build up, because it really felt hard underneath the skin near the tip as if I had some kind of friction tear that caused a scar. I'm still glad I saw the urologist who re-assured me that it was not Peyrone's Disease or anything serious, and now I know for sure what it is. So lesson learned: Make sure to check yourself thoroughly and keep your stuff clean as much as possible. :)

That's awesome it was so simple and you came back to give us an update! Why couldn't the urologist explain that the first time around?
